“ Ok we all know someone who says they're a master on the grill. That can be an over-used statement when it comes to family gatherings yet no one wants to really do the work. Jesse and his staff have mastered smoking meats and having great sides to go with your ribs, chicken, and lobster. You can easily have him cater your next event and know the food will be good! I was first introduced to him by a corporate colleague and I vowed to make Jesse's my go to southern BBQ joint. My favorites are the smoked chicken, ribs, mac n cheese, baked beans, corn bread, and the seafood pasta. This is a drive-up and order kind of place. Once you've placed your order, you can go wait in your car, finish up your Yelp review as I've done, then return a few minutes later walking away with bags of goodies inside. I'm glad there's a delivery option now available too! Thanks Jesse! ”
“ Yelp Challenge 2017 -58/100 The 1st time I visited here it was pouring rain and I left empty handed. I ran from my car to the covered shelter only to stand at the window for five minutes while the guy working finished up a person conversation. I could tell you all the details but I won't. But... the ribs were calling me so I returned this past Sunday. I'm a person of several chances. Again... it was pouring rain (déjà vu). The same guy was there and he remembered me but a different one took care of me. Service was fast and the ribs are all that people say they are and more. I looked the cook on the meat, the sauce and the mac and cheese. I ordered the rib and rib too sandwich and it was plenty for the cost of $13.00. ”
“ We found this restaurant through yelp and I'm so happy we did! This restaurant is located by the camping world stadium, so if you are ever at an event there, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat before or after. Food: I tried the rib dinner which included four ribs (believe me its more than enough) and two sides. I chose the baked beans and ma and cheese. Every single item on that plate was amazing and very rich in flavor. Atmosphere: The owner of the restaurant is a very outgoing guy who's energy is incredibly vibrant and contagious. He and his staff made sure our food was well prepared and we felt right at home. Please don't listen to those saying this is in a bad location. This is a wonderful restaurant in a location filled with wonderful people who are very full of life. Overall, I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. I would choose to spend my money here rather than big chains who don't even open on Sundays. Support small businesses!! ”
“ The shrimp is amazing! Take only but it's worth the drive. The ribs are seasoned perfectly no sauce needed! Prices are reasonable too. Treat yourself! ”
“ First time trying Jesse's thanks to Uber Eats. The food came in record time, about 15 mins when the estimated time was between 25-35 mins so 5 stars for that. The rest is as follows: Ribs - pretty good, easily fell of the bone, meaty, fatty but to be expected, sauce was ok but its just my preference that I like sweet bbq sauce like Sweet Baby Ray's. This was more tangy and vinegar based. The meat needed just a tad of salt. Shrimp - Perfectly fried, huge shrimp, nice amount of garlic on it. Just needed a tad of salt too. Mac n cheese - Also needed a bit of salt but nice and cheesy, ooey, and gooey. Pretty good after adding a smidge of salt. Again, my preference. Collards - For someone who prefers their food a little salty, this was too salty for me. But I bet if I added some vinegar and hot sauce it would be perfect. Jesse's satisfied my craving for bbq. I would probably order from here again knowing what to expect and how to fix it to my liking. ”
“ It is very goooooood. I order almost all the food in the menu. Don't be fool by the neighborhood, the staff is very friendly. I order the rip tips, BBQ chicken combo, BBQ ribs combo, conch combo, and fried shrimp and fried snow crab it's finger licking good. And all the combo come with 2 sides Mac and cheese, collard green, baked bean, and more. You all should try..... ”
“ No seating, kind of intimidating at first glance. Once I walked up, the guys were very friendly and greeted me immediately. The smell of great food surrounded the entire block. We tried rib tips, rib sandwich and seafood salad. The sauce was great. The ribs were tender yet just enough crisp on the edges. Smokey and flavorful. We ate in the car and tried not to get sauce on the seats or ourselves. So good. ”
